Although it’s been relatively cool the last couple of weeks, spring is in the air at Bear Lake.
Thanks to your efforts the lake is in good shape. Sue & Mike Boss have reported that the clarity of the lake last week was 56 feet! The lake is only 60′ deep so this is quite remarkable. The bad news is the zebra mussels are doing their job cleaning the lake. We still have hope that a treatment for the mussels is close.

Sunday, May 29 at 7:30 pm at the township hall. Come early for conversation and vino if you’re so inclined. As before, there will be discount coupons to local business and a raffle for a large pizza.
If you have a passion for the lake and would like to be more involved, please consider volunteering for a board position. We have a couple of vacancies. It’s not time consuming and you can do it from the comfort of your own home.
